VPA Scholarships Raymond R. Mooney Scholarship: "The Trustees of the Association shall select from qualified applicants a Vermont high school student who is pursuing a college degree at a Vermont collegiate institution and if found to be worthy of the association’s financial support." Erwin Bugbee Memorial Scholarship: "The Trustees of the Association shall select from qualified applicants, who have been accepted in a college level police program, one Vermont High School Student in their graduating year who is found to be worthy of the association’s financial support." Herbert Fullam Scholarship: "The Trustees of the Association shall select from qualified applications the child of a police officer, who is a member of the Association who is in good standing, who is pursuing a college degree and is found to be worthy of the Association’s financial support." Gene Gaiotti Memorial Scholarship: "The Trustees of the Association shall select any qualified member in good standing or child of a member who is pursuing a college degree and is found to be worthy of the association’s financial support." **You may apply for the above awards by contacting the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation at (802) 655-9602**
THE BELOW MENTIONED AWARDS ARE FOR MEMBERS ONLY: CLICK HERE FOR ON-LINE APPLICATION Hank Havercoch Sports Award: "Effective calendar year 2002, the Trustees of the Association shall select qualified Association members in good standing that have applied for financial assistance towards a community youth athletic program that they are involved with. The awards will be based upon a maximum monetary yearly amount divided by the number of selected members." President's Continuing Education Scholarship: "Effective calendar year 2003, the Trustees of the Association shall select up to 5 qualified Association members in good standing that are full-time employees of their agency for an educational monetary reimbursement for college level coursework. The applicants must state an identified goal for the request, have a financial need, and successfully complete the coursework based upon committee distribution requirements. Awards will be based upon a maximum monetary yearly amount divided by the number of selected members, not to exceed the amount of the course. If the qualified applicants exceed 5, the selection shall be by lottery."
