2010 VPA President Brad Vail

2010 will mark my 20^th year in VT law enforcement.  I started my career in 1990 with the Hardwick Police Department.  In 1993 I joined the Hartford Police Department where I continue to work as a sergeant.  I have been a member of the Vermont Police Association for 17 years, having been a trustee for the past 5 years.  I am pleased to represent the Vermont Police Association as your 2010 president.  As the law enforcement community continues to face the challenges such as staffing issues, budgetary concerns and crimes coinciding with technological advances, we continue to strive forward in these tough economical times.  I look forward to leading the Association in their endeavors as they work with the legislature to make Vermont a wonderful and safe state.
